The fifth season of Columbo had an episode, "Grand Deceptions" (1989), that featured a Gettysburg wargame set up. The figures are 54mm lead, I am not familiar with the maker.
Having not watched much Columbo, I had no idea of this. What a great looking table they used. Was it a one off, or did Columbo have an interest in figures/wargames like Callan?
This was just a one off episode. Robert Foxworthy was the bad guy, and he was presenting the table and some books to a retired general. I hope you noticed the final touch in the program, which was a Columbo figure in the wargame.
I was going to suggest IR as well Ross! Might some of the more 'skeletal' ones be Scruby? I know he's lorded in some quarters, but I once encountered some of his gold-'plated' 54mm and they were really quite ugly! Not that the ones in the stills look as bad as I remember, but there are some lanky fella's!

DeleteI missed him on my first viewing; a clever touch!
DeleteGreat shots. (Never saw this episode!)
ReplyDeleteWill have to have a better look on a bigger screen but I've spotted a couple of Authenticast and some Imrie Risly figures.
